Sedgwick County Jail Roster Status
No official Sedgwick County online jail roster, current-inmates page, booking report, recent-bookings feed, or public mugshot gallery was located on the county or sheriff website. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office page gives the sheriff, staff, address, phone numbers, and several custody-related links, but it does not give a searchable roster. That changes the inmate records workflow. The sheriff is the live custody contact, and the court docket is the next public clue after charges or hearings are filed.
The sheriff's bonding policy also warns against assuming the person is physically in Julesburg. It says Sedgwick County sheriff custody can include a person housed in Sedgwick County or in another county. For inmate records, ask two questions at the start: is the person in Sedgwick County sheriff custody, and where is the person actually housed? If the answer is Logan County or another facility, that holding facility's visit, mail, phone, and deposit rules matter.
Use Sedgwick County Inmate Records
A no-roster county needs a careful search sequence. Start with live custody, then move to bond, court, records request, and prison locators as needed. Keep names and dates exact. Sedgwick County, Colorado is often confused with Sedgwick County, Kansas, so use Julesburg and Colorado when searching or calling.
- Call the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office at 970-474-3355, 1-888-344-3355, or 970-474-2008.
- Ask whether the person is currently in Sedgwick County sheriff custody and whether booking is complete.
- Ask whether the person is housed in Sedgwick County or another county, and get the exact facility name.
- Ask whether bond has been set, what bond type applies, and whether another hold blocks release.
- Search the Sedgwick County docket if charges, a first appearance, or a case number may exist.
- Use Sedgwick CORA or the court record request form for documents not provided informally.
Sedgwick County Roster Search Fields
The official sources reviewed did not provide an online Sedgwick County roster form, so no name, booking number, or date fields could be inspected for the county jail. The table below preserves the researched finding instead of inventing a search screen. For court and prison records, separate field sets are available through the Colorado Judicial Branch and CDOC.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| No official Sedgwick roster found | n/a | n/a | The county/sheriff site does not publish a searchable current-inmate form. |
| Full name | Phone request | Helpful | Use when calling the sheriff for custody confirmation. |
| Date of birth | Phone request | Helpful if known | Helps separate people with similar names. |
| Case number | Court search | Optional | Use for Sedgwick Combined Court docket and document requests. |
Sedgwick County Inmate Record Fields
Because no Sedgwick County public inmate profile was located, field claims must stay narrow. Do not assume a public profile lists height, weight, race, housing unit, photo, bond per charge, charge statute, or release date. Official sources support a request-based record path, local fee schedule items, and court docket fields.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Custody status by phone | Whether the sheriff can confirm the person is currently in Sedgwick County custody. |
| Housing location | Whether the person is in Sedgwick County or another county facility. |
| Bond type and amount | Case-specific release path after bond is set by court, warrant, judge, or bond officer. |
| Booking-related fees | Local schedule lists booking, bond, and work-release payment categories. |
| Court docket fields | Date, time, case number, hearing type, location, courtroom, and appearance type when listed. |
| Police records request | Request route for releasable sheriff or police records not available online. |

Sedgwick County Booking and Bond
Sedgwick County does not publish a full booking manual, but local official sources give several important facts. The sheriff provides 24-hour law-enforcement protection. The fee schedule lists a $35 jail booking fee, a $10 jail bond fee, and $30 per day work-release payments. The bonding policy says bond can be set by a judge, court-ordered warrant, bond commissioner, or bond hearing officer. If no bond is set, the policy says most defendants should see a judge within 48 hours of arrest.
After bond steps are complete, the Sedgwick policy uses a release target of within six hours for cash bond, personal recognizance bond, co-signed personal recognizance bond, property bond after court notice, and surety bond after paperwork is filed. That does not mean every person leaves within six hours. A separate hold, detainer, warrant, state case, federal matter, or immigration issue can prevent release.
| Bond Type | Local Meaning |
|---|---|
| Cash bond | Full bond amount paid by approved method; personal checks are not accepted. |
| Personal recognizance bond | Defendant signs a promise to appear and must meet approval requirements. |
| Co-signed PR bond | An approved co-signer also promises the defendant will appear. |
| Property bond | Court-approved property is posted as security. |
| Surety bond | A professional bail bondsman posts bond; sheriff staff do not recommend bondsmen. |
Request Sedgwick County Jail Records
When a custody or booking record is not available by phone or online, use Sedgwick County's official CORA policy and request form page. The crawled county page linked to the county policy and form, but the form fields were not exposed in the research. Follow the current county instructions, identify the record custodian, and be specific about whether the request is for a booking record, police report, picture media, bond paperwork, or another record.
The sheriff fee schedule lists $5 for police records, $20 for police records older than five years, and $2 per CD or DVD of pictures. Those fees support request planning, but the picture-media line is broader than mugshots and does not guarantee release of any specific photo. Colorado criminal justice records law, victim privacy, juvenile rules, medical privacy, active investigation limits, and sealing orders may affect access.
The official CORA screenshot for Sedgwick County shows the local county records request channel that fills gaps left by no online inmate roster.
Use that county page for sheriff or county records, and use the court record form for court documents.
Sedgwick County Visitation and Contact
No official Sedgwick County jail visitation schedule, video visitation vendor, phone vendor, mail rule, deposit vendor, or attorney-visit schedule was located on the Sedgwick County site. Do not send money, schedule travel, or mail items until the sheriff confirms where the person is housed. If the person is held at Logan County Detention Center, use Logan County's official rules, not Sedgwick's general sheriff page.
| Facility | Published Visiting Method | What to Do |
|---|---|---|
| Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office / Jail | No public schedule located | Call the sheriff before travel or mail. |
| Logan County Detention Center | Video visitation | Use Logan's Inmate Sales link after housing is confirmed. |
| State prison | CDOC process | Use CDOC only after state-prison transfer. |
Find State and Federal Inmates
County inmate records do not follow a person forever. If a Sedgwick County defendant is sentenced to Colorado prison, use the CDOC Offender Search. Search by DOCNO when known, or by last name, first name, and gender, then complete the captcha. If the matter is federal, use the BOP Inmate Locator. If immigration detention is involved, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. For victim notification, use VINELink where Colorado or local agencies participate.
Note: No official Sedgwick County sheriff or local police mobile app with an inmate roster or warrant search was found.
